Our friends from Germany from the Munich Beer Festival – please visit this great restaurant on the Munich Beer Festival while you are there between mid September and beginning of October each year. These very friendly people will spoil you with great tasting roasted chicken, delicious sausages, fries and a lot of other goodies from Germany. During my holidays in Germany I helped my friends and worked there for several years. A photo is still on this website. The tent contains 366 seats and is regarded as a small tent on the Munich Beer Festival (the big tents have approximately 10.000 seats and there are 105.000 seats alltogether in these tents). Accelleration on water – the worlds fastest Grand Prix Hydroplanes – a really fast motorboat racing with different venues around the world – A key aspect of hydroplanes is that they use the water they’re on for lift rather than buoyancy, as well as for propulsion and steering: when travelling at high speed water is forced downwards by the bottom of the boat’s hull. The water therefore exerts an equal and opposite force upwards, lifting the vast majority of the hull out of the water. This process, happening at the surface of the water, is known as ‘planing’.

The Golden Shears Masterton – the worlds greatest shearing competition
Look out for it and hold your breath who will win this competition – most of the top shearers will compete. Heather’s Ice Cream is sponsoring the Shearing in donating water coolers for the shearers.
NZ Shears Championship – Welcome to Te Kuiti the Shearing Capital of the World and it is also home to five time World Champion Shearer David Fagan. You can watch even live shows of 2011. It is also the town of the great sheep Muster and 2000 sheep will run down the main street.

Emily and Sam Welch run a successful shearing business in partnership with Tony Clayton-Greene in the North Western Waikato. Clayton-Greene and Welch Shearing have a policy of supporting and training young people interested in the shearing industry. Nikau Coopworth is one of the elite stud flocks in New Zealand. It has a close association with Lincoln and Massey University and is a member of: – The Coopworth Society, – Sheep Improvement Ltd (SIL), – a performance and genetic evaluation recording service for the sheep industry, – NZOSR, -NZ Ovine Sire Referencing, -linking flocks and ranking sires, -Frontier Genetics

Great Events – Stunning Locations – Total Sports
Total Sports are organising great events (walk, run, mountain biking, swim) in stunning coastal locations in particular off road that has wide appeal to a broad range of people, and fitness levels. On 25th of February they organised “Coastal Challenge” which supported North Shore Hospice. Heather’s Ice Cream were selected as preferred Ice Cream vendor for the Coastal Challenge on Saturday 25th of February 2012. We are into multi sport events providing better Ice Cream.

fantastic location, finally after a bit of a rainy summer sparkling blue sea and superb summer weather – awesome country music – Heather’s Ice Cream supplied the better Ice Cream – we all enjoyed this great day and it couldn’t have been better
The largest classic car and hot rod festival in the southern hemisphere
If you like to see some fancy cars like a rolling sofa or a rolling bath tub come and see the cars in this unique event – additional there are proudly presented absolutely well maintained old classic cars as well. There is always a prestigious people choice award to nominate the best classic car and it is where petrolhead meet. Heather’s Ice Cream provided the better Ice Cream.

Federated Farmers of New Zealand
Federated Farmers exists to add value to the business of farming for their members, encouraging sustainability through best practice.
The group was formed in 1977 and has been at home on Clevedon Showgrounds since the 1980s. Their aim is to provide a quality competition and training venue for dressage in a supportive environment. All levels are welcome – from the beginner dressage rider to Olympic representatives, from young riders to masters, both able bodied and para-equestrians. The club is governed and run by volunteers who organise winter training days, judges seminars, informal competitions, formal competitions encompassing a spring series and an autumn series of shows and a Regional Championship.
Waikato Vintage Tractor and Machinery Club (Inc.)
The Club was established in the Waikato Region of the North Island at Cambridge in 1988 for the purpose of fostering interest and encouraging members with the restoration of Vintage tractors, stationary engines, agricultural equipment and the preservation of all associated historical information. The Club regularly organises rallies, shed tours, ploughing competitions and many other associated activities.
The Targa rallye drivers assisted the kids in cars in setting the Guiness book of Records insurance race. Patron Ray Williams with his world record Porsche car was one of the go-cart race drivers. Another opportunity at this event was the Flight Simulator of the Westpac Rescue Helicopter – what an amazing experience……!

Home of the Waitamata and Chelsea Model Railway. Our club rooms are situated in Birkenhead on the North Shore of Auckland City in New Zealand. The onsite Waitamata and Chelsea Model Railway consists of US (HO), NZR (Sn3.5) and British (00) sections to cater for modellers of varying interests.
